some preprom stuff, from two weeks ago. i know this isn't much of a post but yeah. i think pictures tell stories enough. but omg these nails kind of sucked, last year i got them done by my friend's mom and they were WAY nicer.

Stacey and Erika didn't get acrylics but the rest of us did. I should have just got a manicure since only two of my three of my nails out of ten were short -__- Oh well, too late! I'll post a better post tomorrow or maybe tonight.

prom #1

before I start to talk about prom, I want to rant. I HATE uploading on blogger. The format is always retarded and you can't go back and fix it unless you delete it and then upload it again. Which I JUST did, may I add. I want to take my photos from the photobucket and add it using html, but then they don't fit in the stupid module for blogger. I should just learn how to fix my layout so i could make the blog module wider -__-

So I didn't take any pictures pre-limo because the parents were CRAZY O___O Like PICTURES PICTURES when we were waiting for the limo, then outside of the limo, and when we got INSIDE the freakin' limo. It was kind of scary really. Somewhere on the internet I could probably steal the "all girls", "all guys", and group shot in front of the limo stuff. Probably won't post it though, so here are all the others!

Our prom was at the LA Science center, it was REALLY nice. I liked it a lot and there was food this year! Not just cheese and crackers (like last year) and lots of fruit. I was happy :] There was gambling and charicatuers (can't spell it, and spellcheck isn't fixing it) but I didn't get one this year. We accidentally walked into the wrong prom entrance. The other school's entrance was AMAZING, they had one of those ribbon dancers hanging from the ceiling O___O Then we realized we were at the wrong one (was wondering why I didn't see any familiar faces) and walked away. I'm kind of happy we did though, because they freakin took my chapstick and lipglass. I was like "WTF? What's wrong with those!?" So I went back to the check and got my stuff back. I was kind of bitchy about it because I was like "You pay me $12 for lipgloss D<"

There was plants surrounding the room, which gave it a really nice feel. The mainfloor had a GIANT fountain the middle of it. It was nice, but made the area around it colder. There was also some reflects on the wall that was really entertaining to watch. I don't know why I didn't take a picture of it at the time. The music pretty much sucked most the time but I liked prom overall.

We went to Denny's after prom. I ordered the appetizer sampler because I wasn't in the mood for a full on meal. Mozzarella sticks are delicious! A lot of other people also came to Denny's so when I left there was like three limos outside. I ended up leaving early because lover's parents came early and I was getting a ride. I ended up getting home around 1:30 which was early considering we had the limo until 2. I knocked home and that was my day XD I didn't get any good pictures of the make up. But you can see it in some of the pictures. I don't feel like uploading the couple pictures because I think they came out bad. Stay tuned for "Prom Eve" post. I dont' know why I posting that after the prom one, but yeah =D Also Prom#2 is going to be next Saturday. I actually have a lot to blog about but have been to lazy to get pictures off camera. I don't really use this as a beauty blog XD

I am so undedicated. I continue to read posts without commenting and such. Sorry for the lurking! I'll try to get better at that. Right now I'm halfway through my Spring Break and I haven't done anything productive at all. I think I'll post accumation of random photos. There has been past things I want to blog about but will probably never get to.

These will start from the most recent (because i don't feel like rearranging the pictures. Stupid blogger can't just put them in with the rest of the text)

nails of the week. my nails are REALLY long right now, but only my left hand. I kept breaking my nails on my right hand. This was taken in indoor light so I might wait until tomorrow to take them in daylight. It's and orange base color with pink glitter over it. Looks much nicer in person.

Had to find out what a giant cheeto was so went out and bought some. Nothing fancy, it's like a giant cheeto puff. I don't like it that much.

I went to my friend's orchestra concert on March 28th and barely posting pictures up now. She's in the large group picture, bottom row second from the left. Her and her sister are both in the orchestra (so her sister is next to her). It's an orchestra played with tradition Chinese instruments; like zither, bamboo flute, etc. Really interesting kind of 12 girls band ish. The rest of the photos were self shots taken in the HUGE mirror in the girls restroom. Took them in the same place last year, but don't feel like digging the photos up to post. Maybe some other post :]


the most beauty related thing i've done in awhile. I haven't been using my BB cream because my face was breaking out so I waiting for it to calm down again. Curse my acne and scars -__- I keep looking at photos from my sophomore year. My skin was WONDERFUL, tanned but so nice. So I'm hoping I can return it to that state slowly, because the end of freshmen year I had some acne and after the summer it got better.

Been kind of thinking about photography for fun recently, so the lover let me borrow his SLR. The first photo is of a peanut butter chocolate egg from See's that he gave me. I was playing with the camer before eating it. The second one was taken with my Sony cybershot (point and shoot) but I was playing with the camera settings so it was brighter. I kind of learned what ISO is :]

Nothing too interesting I think I'm going to start being more diligent about blogging. Especially seeing Amanda crank out so many posts recently! So inspired by other bloggers, yet laziness gets the better of me. I've been thinking about college, AP tests, prom, and Japan a lot recently. Japan I really hope the exchange progrm will happen this year :[ Well tata for now!

hospital

Well this will be a pictureless post. So Saturday night my friend Ruby got into a car accident and I found out about it Sunday evening. When I first heard I was VERY sad. It was really scary hearing about it, but Janine had already gone to visit her and said she was alright. Even though she reassured me that she's doing fine it still made me sad and I cried a bit thinking about it. I think I was so scared because a classmate's older brother died earlier this school year from a situation similar to the one that Ruby was in.

I didn't know the details until I visited her today. This is the second time I've actually gone to the hospital. Both times visiting someone, but last time it was with a friend to visit her father. This time I was actually visiting because someone I care about was there. Ruby is still in the hospital right now :[ She was coming back from Disneyland with her boyfriend and boyfriend's older brother. It was past midnight so I guess everyone was tired and her boyfriend's older brother fell asleep at the wheel (everyone else was also asleep). It sucks though, because Ruby got it the worse. Both her boyfriend and his older brother were out of the hospital on Sunday.

When I went today it was very sad seeing her on the bed. It wasn't too bad at first, we talked and hugged. She also had a nintendo 64 to play so we did that together for a little until she started to eat. After eating a bit she got up to use the restroom and that's what made me sad. She fractured her ribs and back, had bruised lungs, and legs were pretty bruised up also. So when she got up she was struggling in so much pain even with a walker. While she came out of the restroom her boyfriend also came into the hospital room and we talked for a little. I got up to help Ruby while lover and her boyfriend talked. Ruby struggled to get back onto the bed and even though she was in so much pain I know she was trying to be strong. Lover and I had to leave so we hugged her and left.

I am tired right now because we went to Irvine and found out we were at the wrong place, so we spent an hour or so trying to figure out how to get to the UCI Medical Center. It's not even IN Irvine, it's in Orange (the city). By the time I got back home it was around 7:41pm and I didn't get the chance to practice driving, again. I suppose it was worth it though, I got to see her. I'm taking my driving test next Monday, a day before Ruby's 18th birthday. I'm hoping I can pass and we can do something even if she's still stuck in a bed. I just wanted to share a bit about that, not that a lot of people actually read this. It's just scary how easily things like this can happen and how lucky we are if people are able to stay in our lives. I'm a bit angry at her boyfriend's brother, but I'm happier she's still alive.

This post is a bit late. I'm always too lazy to go back and upload old pictures. So we went to Curry House in Rowland Heights/ Hacienda. I'm not sure which city its considered to be in, but it's a few places down from Ninjiya market on Colima. It was on Valentine's day since I had already spent the day before with lover. So I went out with my other lovers :) I called up Erika and Quinzcy, but Bob joined us later because she had nothing to do. I thought she had competition so I didn't bother inviting her and some other friends. Came in the end :p

So I had told everyone to take a picture before they ate there food, but being a dumbass I forgot to take a picture of my own food. I shared an extra large seafood curry with Quinzcy, because she didn't want to order something and we decided to share.

The miso soup looks NOTHING like miso soup, but it was delicious. Came with the udon that Bob had ordered.

Erika's vegetarian curry pasta. I believe all the curry(s) came with a little salad with peanut dressing.

After curry I wanted to try the yogurt place that was next door to it. I've always seen it when I go get in-n-out there, but never got the chance to go. I love how the store is decorated, so colorful and bright. Didn't really take pictures of the place, just random shots of each other.

And my yogurt! I don't know if I like the actual yogurt here too much, but I love the range they had. So much more toppings and flavors to choose from. You can see the cheesecake and brownie bits in my cup, yum <3>

After the yogurt we went into Ninjiya. I went in and got some Asian snacks for my sister and was looking around for the Lucido L products. I wasn't able to tell how much it cost so I opted to buy it later when I did. Luckily I chose not to cause looking back I spent rougly $100 that day. I don't know how >__> We went to the Target afterwards and I picked up some soap, chapstick, and Nivea products. I think I'll post those later though. We took Quinzcy and Erika home because they both had to be back earlier. Quinzcy had work and Erika had to babysit her brother. I felt that the day was too short so Bob and I went over to the Eastland shopping center.

Trying on random crap in Ross. We tried on those latex like leggings. Not very flattering on my legs. So I grabbed a random shirt off the rack to try on with it, but Bob ended up liking it and buying it. It's a pretty nice looking shirt. At the other Target I ended up finding the swim suit I wanted and got it :) I will also post pictures of that in another post. I think I'll end up doing an accumulative haul post soon.
